Strengthening Palestinian–Cypriot University Cooperation

The National Erasmus+ Office in Palestine, in collaboration with the Foundation for the Management of European Lifelong Learning Programmes (IDEP), Cyprus’s National Agency, successfully conducted a Virtual Contact Seminar on Palestinian–Cypriot University Collaboration on Thursday, 18 December 2025.

The seminar brought together colleagues from Erasmus+ Units, International Relations Offices, Project Units, and interested academics from Palestinian and Cypriot universities. Its main objective was to strengthen cooperation between higher education institutions in Palestine and Cyprus and to explore opportunities for joint participation in various Erasmus+ programme actions, including International Credit Mobility (ICM) and Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE).

Participants engaged in constructive discussions, shared experiences, and explored potential partnerships for future projects. The event represented an important step toward enhancing academic collaboration between Palestinian and Cypriot universities.
