الدكتور أمير خليل يشارك في المؤتمر السنوي لأصدقاء الجامعات الفلسطينية 2026 في لندن

شارك الدكتور أمير خليل، مدير مكتب إيراسموس+ الوطني في فلسطين، في المؤتمر السنوي لأصدقاء الجامعات الفلسطينية    (FPU) لعام 2026، والذي عُقد بتاريخ 16 حزيران/يونيو 2026 في لندن، تحت عنوان: الوقوف إلى جانب التعليم العالي الفلسطيني: التضامن العالمي والشراكة الأكاديمية"

وجمع المؤتمر نخبة من الأكاديميين ورؤساء الجامعات وصناع السياسات والباحثين وممثلي مؤسسات التعليم العالي من فلسطين والمملكة المتحدة وعدد من الدول الأوروبية، بهدف بحث سبل تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي الدولي ودعم قطاع التعليم العالي الفلسطيني.

وساهم الدكتور خليل في جلسة نقاشية بعنوان:

"بناء الروابط من خلال الأطر الأوروبية: نماذج للشراكة الأكاديمية مع فلسطين"

وخلال الجلسة، قدم عرضاً بعنوان:

"بناء الشراكات العالمية مع فلسطين من خلال برنامج إيراسموس+: دراسات حالة ونماذج فعّالة"

وسلط الدكتور خليل الضوء في عرضه على الدور المحوري الذي يؤديه برنامج إيراسموس+ في تعزيز الشراكات الدولية المستدامة بين مؤسسات التعليم العالي الفلسطينية والأوروبية. واستعرض عدداً من قصص النجاح والتجارب العملية التي أسهمت في تطوير نماذج تعاون فعّالة عززت من حراك الطلبة وأعضاء الهيئتين الأكاديمية والإدارية، وساهمت في بناء القدرات المؤسسية، وتطوير البحث العلمي، ودعم الابتكار في الجامعات الفلسطينية.

وأكد الدكتور خليل أن الشراكات الأكاديمية الدولية تمثل ركيزة أساسية لدعم صمود وتطوير قطاع التعليم العالي الفلسطيني، لا سيما في ظل التحديات الراهنة، مشدداً على أهمية توسيع شبكات التعاون الأكاديمي وخلق فرص جديدة للشراكة من خلال الأطر والبرامج الأوروبية الداعمة للتعاون الدولي.

كما أشار إلى الأهمية الاستراتيجية لعودة الجامعات والمؤسسات البريطانية للمشاركة في برنامج إيراسموس+ اعتباراً من مطلع العام القادم، مؤكداً أن هذه الخطوة ستسهم في تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي والبحثي بين مؤسسات التعليم العالي الفلسطينية والبريطانية، وتوسيع فرص التبادل الأكاديمي وحراك الطلبة والموظفين، إضافة إلى فتح المجال أمام تطوير مشاريع مشتركة وشراكات جديدة تخدم أولويات التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي لدى الجانبين.

وشكل المؤتمر منصة مهمة لتبادل الخبرات ومشاركة أفضل الممارسات وتعزيز التضامن الدولي مع مؤسسات التعليم العالي الفلسطينية، حيث جدد المشاركون التزامهم بدعم الجامعات الفلسطينية من خلال شراكات طويلة الأمد ومشاريع تعاونية ومبادرات للتبادل الأكاديمي.

وتأتي مشاركة مكتب إيراسموس+ الوطني في فلسطين في إطار جهوده المتواصلة لتعزيز التدويل في مؤسسات التعليم العالي الفلسطينية وتوسيع آفاق التعاون الأكاديمي والبحثي مع الشركاء الدوليين بما يسهم في تطوير القطاع الأكاديمي الفلسطيني ورفع تنافسيته على المستوى العالمي.

Dr. Amir Khalil Participates in the Friends of Palestinian Universities Annual Conference 2026 in London

Dr. Amir Khalil, Director of the National Erasmus+ Office in Palestine, participated in the Friends of Palestinian Universities (FPU) Annual Conference 2026, held on 16 June 2026 at the National Education Union in London under the theme:

“Standing with Palestinian Higher Education: Global Solidarity & Academic Partnership.”

The conference brought together academics, university leaders, policymakers, researchers, and representatives of higher education institutions from Palestine, the United Kingdom, and several European countries to explore opportunities for strengthening international academic cooperation and supporting Palestinian higher education.

Dr. Khalil contributed to a panel discussion entitled:

“Building Links through European Frameworks: Models for Academic Partnership with Palestine.”

During the panel, he delivered a presentation titled:

“Building Global Partnerships with Palestine Through Erasmus+: Case Studies and Effective Models.”

In his presentation, Dr. Khalil highlighted the pivotal role of the Erasmus+ Programme in fostering sustainable international partnerships between Palestinian and European higher education institutions. Drawing on successful case studies and practical experiences, he showcased effective cooperation models that have enhanced student and staff mobility, strengthened institutional capacities, promoted research collaboration, and supported innovation across Palestinian universities.

Dr. Khalil emphasized that international academic partnerships are essential for sustaining the resilience and development of the Palestinian higher education sector, particularly in the face of ongoing challenges. He stressed the importance of expanding academic networks and creating new opportunities for collaboration through European frameworks and international cooperation programmes.

He also highlighted the strategic importance of the anticipated return of UK universities and institutions to the Erasmus+ Programme from the beginning of next year. He noted that this development is expected to strengthen academic and research cooperation between Palestinian and British higher education institutions, expand opportunities for student and staff mobility, and pave the way for new joint projects and partnerships that address shared priorities in higher education and research.

The conference provided an important platform for exchanging experiences, sharing best practices, and reinforcing global solidarity with Palestinian higher education. Participants reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Palestinian universities through long-term partnerships, collaborative projects, and academic exchange initiatives.

The participation of the National Erasmus+ Office in Palestine reflects its continued commitment to promoting the internationalization of Palestinian higher education institutions and expanding academic and research cooperation with international partners, contributing to the advancement and global competitiveness of the Palestinian higher education sector.
