مدير مكتب إيراسموس+ الوطني يلتقي ممثلة جمهورية ليتوانيا في فلسطين ويبحثان تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي

التقى مدير مكتب إيراسموس+ الوطني في فلسطين، د. أمير خليل، بالسيدة نيدا دالمانتايتي، ممثلة جمهورية ليتوانيا في فلسطين، حيث جرى بحث سبل تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي بين مؤسسات التعليم العالي الفلسطينية والليتوانية.

وتناول اللقاء فرص توسيع الشراكات بين الجامعات الفلسطينية والليتوانية في إطار برنامج إيراسموس+، بما يشمل تنقل الطلبة والأكاديميين والإداريين، وتطوير المشاريع الأكاديمية والبحثية المشتركة، إضافة إلى تعزيز مشاركة المؤسسات الفلسطينية في مختلف أنشطة البرنامج.

وأكد الجانبان أهمية التعاون الدولي في دعم جودة التعليم العالي وتعزيز التبادل الأكاديمي والثقافي بين فلسطين وليتوانيا، بما يسهم في بناء شراكات مستدامة وتوسيع آفاق التعاون بين مؤسسات التعليم العالي في البلدين.

واختُتم اللقاء بالتأكيد على مواصلة التنسيق والتواصل لاستكشاف فرص جديدة للتعاون الأكاديمي بما يخدم الطلبة والجامعات في فلسطين وليتوانيا.

Director of the National Erasmus+ Office Meets with Representative of the Republic of Lithuania in Palestine

The Director of the National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) in Palestine, Dr. Amir Khalil, met with Ms. Nida Dalmantaitė, Representative of the Republic of Lithuania in Palestine, to discuss opportunities for enhancing academic cooperation between Palestinian and Lithuanian higher education institutions.

During the meeting, both sides explored ways to strengthen partnerships between universities in Palestine and Lithuania through the Erasmus+ Programme, including student and staff mobility, joint research initiatives, and capacity-building projects. They also discussed opportunities to increase participation in Erasmus+ activities and foster greater academic and cultural exchange between the two countries.

Dr. Khalil highlighted the importance of international cooperation in supporting the development and internationalization of Palestinian higher education institutions, while Ms. Dalmantaitė expressed Lithuania’s interest in expanding collaboration with Palestinian universities and promoting closer ties between academic communities in both countries.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to encouraging further dialogue and exploring new avenues for cooperation under the Erasmus+ Programme.
