نظم مكتب برنامج إيراسموس+ الوطني في فلسطين يومًا تعريفيًا في جامعة دار الكلمة – بيت لحم، للتعريف ببرنامج إيراسموس+ ومكوناته المختلفة، واستعراض الفرص التي يوفرها في مجالات التبادل الأكاديمي، وبناء القدرات، وتعزيز الشراكات بين مؤسسات التعليم العالي الفلسطينية ونظيراتها الأوروبية.

شارك في اللقاء ممثلون عن عدد من مؤسسات التعليم العالي الفلسطينية، من بينها: جامعة دار الكلمة، جامعة بيت لحم، جامعة فلسطين الأهلية، كلية الكتاب المقدس، جامعة الاستقلال، جامعة الخليل، جامعة بوليتكنك فلسطين، الكلية الذكية الجامعية للتعليم الحديث، جامعة فلسطين التقنية – خضوري، جامعة القدس، والهيئة الوطنية للاعتماد والجودة والنوعية في وزارة التربية والتعليم العالي.

تزامن اللقاء مع عقد ورشة عمل تناولت مخرجات مشروع 3EEE المموّل من الاتحاد الأوروبي، والذي يهدف إلى تعزيز مهارات الطلبة والخريجين وربط مخرجات التعليم العالي باحتياجات سوق العمل.

افتتح اللقاء الدكتور متري الراهب، رئيس جامعة دار الكلمة، بكلمة ترحيبية أكد فيها أهمية التعاون الأكاديمي ودور برامج إيراسموس+ في دعم الجامعات الفلسطينية وتطوير قدراتها.

وتحدث الدكتور معمر شتيوي، رئيس الهيئة الوطنية للاعتماد والجودة والنوعية، عن أهمية مشروع 3EEE ودوره في تحسين جودة التعليم وربط الجامعات بسوق العمل، مشيرًا إلى الدور الحيوي لبرنامج إيراسموس+ في تطوير التعليم العالي في فلسطين. كما قدّمت الدكتورة نهى عطير من جامعة فلسطين التقنية – خضوري عرضًا لأبرز مخرجات المشروع.

كما تضمّن اللقاء عرضًا قدّمه الدكتور أمير خليل، مدير مكتب إيراسموس+ الوطني في فلسطين، تناول فيه آليات الاستفادة من برنامج إيراسموس+ وفرص التعاون الأكاديمي المتاحة أمام الجامعات الفلسطينية.

وعلى هامش اليوم التعريفي، جرى عقد اجتماع مع رئيس جامعة دار الكلمة الدكتور متري الراهب لبحث آفاق التعاون ضمن مشاريع إيراسموس+ المستقبلية. كما تم تنظيم زيارة إلى جامعة فلسطين الأهلية ولقاء رئيسها الدكتور عماد الزير، لمناقشة سبل تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي وتطوير المشاريع المشتركة، وتوسيع مشاركة الجامعات الفلسطينية في برامج إيراسموس+ على المستويين المحلي والدولي.

ويأتي هذا النشاط ضمن جهود مكتب إيراسموس+ الوطني في فلسطين لتعزيز التعاون مع الجامعات الفلسطينية والجهات الرسمية ذات العلاقة، وتشجيعها على الاستفادة من فرص البرنامج في مجالات التبادل الأكاديمي، وبناء القدرات، والمشاريع المشتركة.

 National Erasmus+ Office Holds Info Day at Dar Al-Kalima University – Bethlehem

The National Erasmus+ Office in Palestine organized an Info Day at Dar Al-Kalima University – Bethlehem to introduce the Erasmus+ Programme, highlighting its various components and the opportunities it offers in academic exchange, capacity building, and fostering partnerships between Palestinian higher education institutions and their European counterparts.

Representatives from several Palestinian higher education institutions participated, including Dar Al-Kalima University, Bethlehem University, Palestine Ahliya University, Bethlehem Bible College, Al-Istiqlal University, Hebron University, Palestine Polytechnic University, Smart College for Modern Education, Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, Al-Quds University, and the National Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission (AQAC) at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

The event coincided with a workshop presenting the outcomes of the EU-funded 3EEE Project, which aims to enhance students’ and graduates’ skills and strengthen the connection between higher education and the labor market.

The Info Day opened with a welcome speech by Dr. Matri Al-Raheb, President of Dar Al-Kalima University, emphasizing the importance of academic cooperation and the role of Erasmus+ in supporting and developing Palestinian universities.

This was followed by remarks from Dr. Muammar Shtaywi, President of the National Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission (AQAC), highlighting the significance of the 3EEE Project in improving education quality and linking universities to the labor market, as well as the pivotal role of Erasmus+ in advancing higher education in Palestine.

Dr. Nuha Iter from Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie presented the main outcomes of the project.

The event also included a presentation by Dr. Amir Khalil, Director of the National Erasmus+ Office in Palestine, outlining mechanisms for benefiting from the Erasmus+ Programme and the academic cooperation opportunities available to Palestinian universities.

On the sidelines of the Info Day, a meeting was held with Dr. Matri Al-Raheb, President of Dar Al-Kalima University, to explore future collaboration within Erasmus+ projects. A visit to Palestine Ahliya University was also conducted, where a meeting with its President, Dr. Emad Al-Zeer, discussed ways to enhance academic cooperation, develop joint projects, and expand Palestinian universities’ participation in Erasmus+ programmes at both national and international levels.

This activity is part of the ongoing efforts of the National Erasmus+ Office in Palestine to strengthen partnerships with Palestinian universities and relevant governmental bodies, and to encourage them to benefit from Erasmus+ in areas of academic exchange, capacity building, and joint projects.
